I have been married for 20 years to an amazing man, Scott....we were high school sweethearts! We have three beautiful children: Hillary, Drew and Mollie Grace. I currently work at Hillvue Heights Church as the assistant to the children's pastor. I love my job and it was the answer to 2 years of prayer. Jesus is my Lord and Savoir....without him I am nothing. Our life is crazy chaotic and I would not change anything!!

Grace......

God's grace is immeasureable, immense, unending.........I could go on and on. I am so thankful for grace......more than that......My uncle is still in the hospital......still the same but oh so different. He is now among the family of God....his eternity secured......he is a child of God!! On Friday the Holy Spirit prompted me to tell my mom not to wait any longer. My uncle was not completely conscience but he was following some commands....My precious mom didn't wait....she stepped way far out of her comfort zone....she trusted God....she was obedient to the Father. My uncle was able to communicate with my mom by squeezing her hand and she led him in a prayer to confess his sins and ask Jesus to be Lord of his life........Grace and forgiveness....second chances......Love wins.

don't wait

Dont' wait.....don't make excuses.....
don't let fear win out......it doesn't matter if they say no......don't wait.
Don't wait to share the Good News of Jesus with loved ones, with friends, with co-workers, with your neighbors, with people in your life.
You just might not get another chance......My great uncle had a stroke last Friday.
He is onery, grumpy, and contrary......and we waited....
waited for the right time...now is the right time, yesterday was the right time.
There is not a time that is not right........
We aren't guarunteed tomorrow, the next moment, all we have is now.......
we don't know if we will get another chance. Please pray for a moment of clarity for him, a moment to share........

Not usually political......but

First of all let me say that I am not a political person.......I do believe everyone that can should vote (if you dont, dont whine), I do have strong views about what I believe (I wont push them on you but if you ask me I will tell you)......that said I am really upset about this bailout thing. First of all does something need to be done...YES, but I dont believe that they can get a smart decision by Friday, which by the way is when the current session is over. I dont think that what they are suggesting now is the right thing to do (I think it rewards bad behavior on all parts), I think that the people that are heading this up are the wrong people to be doing it (hello Sec. Paulson worked for Goldman-Sachs and made over $120 million in two years) people from Wall Street have no place in this bail out, and while I'm on wall street does it not seem kind of wrong that you are the head of a company and they have to be bailed out by the federal government and you sale stock worth $60 million the month before.......the last time I checked bonuses are for doing a good job not running a company into the ground.

Happy Birthday

My baby girl (not really but that is what i call her) is 17 today. a beautiful young woman, but also childlike in so many ways....I couldn't be more proud to be her mama. I love how she is still so innocent but at the same time has experienced many hurts. I love how she laughs....I love waking her up for school in the mornings....I love my beautiful daughter.

Baptism

My 83 year old grandmother was baptized this past weekend.....She was saved as a little girl but had never been baptized. I had the honor and privilege of being in the water with her...I had talked with her a couple of years ago about her salvation. After a service where Pastor Jamie reminded us not to assume about someones salvation, and had told a story of him talking with his grandfather. I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to go and speak with Doodle. She assured me that she did have a personal relationship with Jesus, but that she had never been baptized. Long story short the opportunity had not come about til now because of some limitations she has with climbing stairs and so forth. But how the Glory of God was shown this weekend. She is terrified of water and can't swim a lick....I was so proud of her. Over 40 people were baptised at this service. It is a weekend long event at Barren River Lake known as Godstock. This was the 15th year!! God was among us and people's lives were changed. Those that were among the walking dead are now alive in Jesus!!
